FEBRUARY 27TH.:There is still time to register your child for a kindergarten screening appointment at Franklin Elementary.  Any student who will be 5 years old before August 1st is eligible to attend kindergarten for the 2018-19 school year.  Please stop by the Franklin office as soon as possible between the hours of 7:00 am and 3:30 pm to pick up your registration packet and sign up for your screening appointment.

March 3rd.: BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF PUTNAM COUNTY BOWL FOR KIDS’SAKE “NEEDS BOWLING TEAMS” The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Putnam County ANNUAL Bowl for Kids’ Sake is March 3 in Ottawa for a “Party Bowl” 11 am & :30 pm with a couple spots at 2 pm. The Pandora “Glow Bowling” will be at :00 am 2:30 pm on March 10, 2018 We need teams of 4 people to raise a little money to help the kids of Putnam County. You can collect any amount and come out an bowl with us and be eligible for door prize . If you team collects $120, you get an event shirt, for $240 you also get a large pizza and a pitcher of pop. Any team that collects $ 00 or more will get free tickets into our raffle in addition to all the above items. The highest fundraising Adult team will win a one month YMCA membership for each team member In addition, the highest fundraising High School team will win a free ticket to an amusement park. He shares with us how to overcome the worst after experiencing a tragedy which swept away his wife and four children. March 24th.: The 32nd annual Spring Festival of Arts and Crafts. There will be over 100 vendors at this show with a wide variety of items that will interest the entire family. ALL proceeds will go towards sending boy scouts to summer camp this July.
