MAY 29TH.-AUGUST 17TH.: St. Paul United Church of Christ in Wapakoneta is hosting the Summer Lunch Program beginning May 29, 2018 through August 17th. Lunch will be served from 11:30 am -12:30 pm. We will be serving MondayFriday and will distribute Take Home Bags for the weekend on Fridays. All ages are welcome including adults. There is no charge. AUGUST 17TH.: St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store at 928 S. Main St. Lima is holding a Community $2 Bag Sale and Free Days. On Friday, August 17 and Monday August 20. $2 lets you fill a tall provided kitchen bag with clothing, housewares, books, bedding, shoes, purses, toys, and more. All remaining items will be free Tuesday, August 21 and Wednesday, August 22. This will help clear inventory to completely restock. The store will reopen Monday, August 27. Hours are noon to 3:30.

SEPTEMBER 5TH.:Faith Christian Church, 2223 Shawnee Road, Lima, is hosting the musical group Nine Mile Creek String Band on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 6:30 pm. This 16-person group consists of dulcimers, guitar, bass, fiddle, percussion, auto harp. Weather permitting the event will be held on the church’s front lawn; otherwise in sanctuary. Refreshments following. FREE and open to the public.

OCTOBER 6TH.: Come out for Doggy Walk for Scholars – a 3 mile walk inside Faurot Park. Park is located at South Cole Street in Lima, Ohio.* There will be prizes for dog (and his or her master) that raises the most pledges.
