NOVEMBER 19TH.: St. John’s United Methodist Church will be holding a concert by Siberian Solstice, a trans siberian orchestra tribute band starting at 7pm. This is a FREE concert and a free will offering will be taken.

NOVEMBER 15TH.-DECEMBER 4TH.: SWEATERS FOR SENIORS, HCF Management and the Allen County Council on Aging are reaching out to the public to donate your gently used sweaters at drop off sites all around the region and we will make sure the sweaters are cleaned and distributed to seniors. Seniors can pick up sweaters on December 11th. from 10am-4pm at the Allen County on Aging 215 Central Avenue Lima. Donation boxes can be found at.: CMG Radio Stations, Nitza’s, The YMCA, Burton’s Ridge, Heritage Health Care, Lima Manor, Wapakoneta Manor, Roselawn Manor, Shawnee Manor Tom Ahl, Lima Mall, The Neighborhood Cleaners and the Allen County Council on Aging.

NOVEMBER 25TH.: The Westside United Methodist Church 604 Gloria Drive, Lima will be holding a FREE Community Breakfast with Santa from 9am-11am and the public is welcome.

NOVEMBER 25-DECEMBER 30.: The Delphos Canal Museum will open the doors every Thursday from 9am-Noon, and every Saturday and Sunday from 1pm-4pm.  Call 419-692-4496 for more info or to schedule a group tour. The Museum is Handicap accessible. This years ” Celebrate Christmas”, will feature nearly 100 decorated trees and the theme is Christmas Movies.

DECEMBER 3RD.: The Iron Brotherwood Motorcycle Club will be holding a benefit for Braxton Allan Reams at 120 Euclid Avenue in Lima from Noon-6pm. Braxton was born at 23 weeks and is currently on a ventilator. This benefit is to help his parents with the medical expenses. The cost is $10.00 a single and $15.00 a couple. You will find a 50/50 raffle, auction, Door prizes, food and music.

DECEMBER 4TH.: On Monday, December 4th at 7:30 pm at Delphos St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, the Delphos Ministerial Association will present an evening of music and reflections to prepare our hearts for Jesus’ birth. Soloists and groups from various churches are involved as well as young people from Jefferson and St. John high schools. Come and prepare your heart for Christmas!

DECEMBER 4TH.: Immanuel Church will host its monthly community meal on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at 5:30 P.M.  The menu is pizza, chips, veggies, Jesus’ birthday cake, and ice cream.  Following the meal, a visitor from the North Pole will arrive for the childrenThis event is free and open to the public.  Mark your calendars now, and plan to be there – we would love to have you join us!  If you have any questions regarding this event, please contact the church office at 419-331-2366.

DECEMBER 6TH.:  Trinity’s Family Life Annual Christmas Dinner and Bazaar 702 Ambrose Drive in Delphos. Carry-outs are available. Dinner is served from 4:00pm-6:30pm. The menu includes beef or ham, noodles, whipped potatioes and gravy, green beans, slaw, applesauce, pies, rolls and coffee. Adults $8.50 children under 12 $4.00. A general Store and Sweet Shoppe will be available for you to shop as well.

DECEMBER 9TH.: The Putnam County Sheriff and Putnam County Chiefs Association have partnered with the Ottawa Walmart and Putnam County Educational Service Center to announce the 2nd. countywide SHOP WITH A COP in Putnam County. Children will be paired with officers and escorted to Wal-Mart in officers cruisers. Each child will be given gift cards to spend on gifts for their family members and encouraged to buy at least one needed item for themselves. DECEMBER 12TH.: Celina Manor’s Festival of Lights invites the public to share the Christmas spirit with the residents of this amazing care community. As a business, organization or church group decorate a Wreath or tree and it will displayed throughout the holiday season for the residents to enjoy PLUS the public will be invited to come out on December 12th. between 5:30-7:30pm and vote for their favorite tree and or wreath. Make sure to somehow include your logo. The winner by most votes will be rewarded with lunch for up to 25 people. Trees can be placed between November 27th.-December 1st.
